How to Get a Library Card

Library cards are free of charge to applicants who fill out a short form (available from the Circulation Desk or online below). Applications must be made in person at the Circulation Desk because the applicant must provide photo identification along with an additional form of current address verification. Children 3 to 15 may obtain a card with the signature of a parent or legal guardian who provides the necessary identification and address verification.

Most first time borrowers are allowed to check out five items.

The replacement cost for the first lost card is $1.00. Additional replacement cards will be $5.00.

We ask that you bring your library card each time you wish to check out materials and remind you that library cards are necessary for using computers at the library.

You can save time applying for a library card by downloading, printing, and completing the appropriate application before coming to the library. They are in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF).
