The JCPL Online Catalog

Our new automated library system is called Millennium by Innovative Interfaces, Inc.  The Johnson City Public Library is a member of the Watauga Regional Public Libraries, which has joined its library catalog with Northeast State Community College and East Tennessee State University.  As a result, the system has the "feel" of a huge regional library with over 1.8 million items available to you.  Other libraries in the Watauga region include Jonesborough, Gray, Bristol, Avoca, Kingsport, Sullivan County, Elizabethton, Greeneville, Mosheim, Erwin, and Mountain City.

Patrons will use the WebPAC (Web Patron Access Catalog) to search for items by author, title, subject, or keyword.  If an item is checked out, a patron may place a hold on it.  Further, patrons may use the system to renew items and check their account statuses.

The website for the WebPAC is libraries.etsu.edu.  The picture below is a sample of a WebPAC webpage.

We have prepared a brief tutorial page that you may download and view or print that explains the basics of using the WebPAC.  (It is in the Adobe Acrobat format.  If you do not have the free Acrobat reader on your computer, click the "Get Adobe Reader" button below).
